Maxine Virginia Vaughan

Maxine was born in Stuarts Draft to Austin Robertson and Margaret (Coffey) Robertson on April 7th, 1944.

She worked at Alcoa for 16 years, doing anything and everything that was needed on the line.

In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Robertson; son-in-law, Kenneth Campbell; granddaughters, Amber Vaughan, Ashley Hudson; and a great-grandson, Liam Hudson.

Maxine is survived by her daughter, Lora Campbell of Stuarts Draft; her son, Chad Vaughan (Alexandra) of Churchville; a brother, Calvin Robertson (Melinda) of Staunton; grandchildren, David “Smurf” Campbell (Tracy), Felicia Vance (Richard), CJ Vaughan, Sophia Donadio, Katherine Vaughan; and great grandchildren, Emmy Vance, Hayden Michael and Alyssa Campbell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as her special fur friend, Fern.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Faith Worship Center, 2522 Tinkling Springs Rd, Stuarts Draft, with Pastors Dennis Bradley and Stephanie Bradley officiating. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be David Campbell, Allen Robertson, Dale Loan, Robbie Robertson, Johnathan Corbin and Richard Vance.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
