Craig died in his sleep at the age of 85 on December 18, 2025 at his home in Sudbury, MA, the town where he lived for 57 years.
Craig was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 20, 1940 and grew up in Mansfield and Euclid, Ohio before moving to the Boston area in 1963.
Craig was pre-deceased by his wife of 54 years, Alorie Boyle Parkhill, and is survived by his partner Judy Handley of Sudbury and Falmouth, MA. An architect trained at Western Reserve and deeply inspired by the Chicago style of Mies van der Rohe, Craig was a partner with the Boston firm MFPA, which he founded with his brother-in-law Fred Hickler.
Craig is survived by his children, Rebecca and Paul Parkhill; his grandchildren, Angus and Daphne Parkhill and Luka and Oliver Willett; son-in-law, Robert Willett; and daughter-in-law, Helen Kapstein.
