

Frances “Pearl” Stacey of Sudbury, died Christmas Day, December 25, 2010 at Bolton Manor where she had been a resident for several years. She was 83 and the wife of the late Donald M. Stacey. Mrs. Stacey was born in Cambridge, the daughter of the late Robert Wesley and Beatrice Hovey (Fisher) Minty. A resident of Sudbury since 1961 she was active in her community. She was a member of the Sudbury United Methodist Church , The Wayside Inn Chapter, DAR and the Society of Genealogists, Inc. She served as Registrar of Sudbury Campfire Girls and enjoyed bird watching, needlework and stamp collecting. She is survived by her daughters; Carolyn Stacey of Leominster, Nancy L. Schimp of Nashua, NH, Sandra E. Leacu and her husband, Paul, of Upton and Donna Dupont of Hudson; her sons; James Stacey of Hudson and Scott Stacey and his wife, Helena, of Westwood. She was the mother in law of Carol Stacey of Hudson and mother of the late Kenneth Stacey.
She also leaves her brother, Donald P. Minty and his wife, Lisa, of Mt. Airy, NC, three sisters in law, Marion and Lois Stacey and Carolyn Minty ; and 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three siblings; Eleanor Ruth Kuhns, Robert and David Minty and one grandson, Keith R. Stacey. Funeral services will be Thurs., Dec. 30, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sudbury United Methodist Church,251 Old Sudbury Road (Rt. 27, Sudbury Center. Visitation will be Wed., from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Duckett-J.S.Waterman & Sons Home of memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road., Rt. 20, Sudbury. Interment will be in Wadsworth Cemetery , Sudbury.
