

COCO, Hannalou John of Wellesley Hills, passed away peacefully at The Wayside Hospice in Wayland, MA on March 10, 2013. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Samuel Barbin Coco. She also leaves two children and their spouses, Harvey and Deborah Coco of Saratoga Springs, NY and Bradford and Caroline Hudson of Wellesley, and five adoring grandchildren. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Holland John (Hanna Shannon) of Akron, Ohio and was a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She was an avid traveler, who especially enjoyed visiting her beloved England, where she would hunt for items to add to her extensive collection of royal commemoratives. While raising her family in Wellesley, she worked countless hours as a volunteer at many organizations including The Junior League of Boston, The Wellesley Service League, The Wellesley Community Center, and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. At the time of her death, she was serving as the Chairman of the Newton-Wellesley Hospital Thrift Shop, and as the Treasurer of the House and Garden Club of Wellesley. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 15 at 2:00pm at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 79 Denton Road, Wellesley, MA.
