Mary J Bowden

“Mary is survived by her sons, James A. Bowden and Vernon Capel, III, both of Framingham, MA. She is also survived by a sister, Alice B. Hardy (Earl) of Belmont, NC. She is also survived by a nephew, Anthony Maness of Cambridge, MA. She was preceded in death by a sister, Martha B. Maness in 2016. Her parents, Bonnie and Sarah Bowden also preceded her in death. Mary will be sorely missed by a large host of family members and friends.

She was a faithful member of Greater Framingham Community Church. She was always ready to confess her faith and belief in God. Her love of singing afforded her the opportunity to become a proud member of the church’s Gospel chorale.

She was a true prayer warrior and a faithful participant on the prayer line. She was not shy about professing her faith to anyone, including her brothers and sisters at Carlyle House, where she was a resident for the last few years.”

A visitation for Mary will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Greater Framingham Community Church, 44 Franklin St, Framingham, MA 01702. A funeral service will occur from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 44 Franklin St, Framingham, MA 01702. Interment will follow at Edgell Grove Cemetery.
