Michael Patrick O'Connor

Michael Patrick O’Connor, of Sudbury, passed away on September 30, 2025. He was born in Teaneck, NJ on February 10, 1962 to William and Ellen (Boylan) O’Connor.

Michael attended Bergen Catholic High school, and later graduated from Montclair State University

Mike was passionate about boating, running and skiing. Most of all he enjoyed gathering with friends and family, many times hosting vacation homes from the Jersey Shore to Lake George NY to Vermont, for all to enjoy. Mike had a great sense of humor. He loved to talk, laugh and enjoy a few sips of Jameson’s. He was a devoted and loyal friend to so many. He was a man that was always there for others, no matter what the need. He never asked for anything in return, never sought the spotlight. He only cared.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, William and Ellen O’Connor and Brother William O’Connor.

Mike is survived by his loving sister, Mary and her husband Greg Lyons of Daytona Beach, FLA, brother James O’Connor of Queensbury NY, and sister Kathleen Essman of Ringwood NJ, along with her two sons Thomas and Andrew.

Services are private and in the care of Duckett - J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road (Rt. 20) SUDBURY.
