

Suzanne Bradley Meinert passed away peacefully on November 9, 2022 of complications due to a combination of Covid-19 and Alzheimer’s dementia.
Sue was born on July 11, 1939 in Madison, NJ, the only child of Harry and Florence Bradley. Sue attended Madison High School where she was an All-State field hockey player and cheerleader. She was a graduate of Bucknell University where she was an active member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Sue was the sweetheart of Sigma Chi fraternity in 1961 and would go on to marry fellow classmate John L. Meinert. Sue and John were avid travelers and were fortunate to travel the world for John’s job with IBM.
The Meinert family moved to Wayland, MA in 1981, where she was a field hockey, tennis and cheerleading coach at Wayland High School and member of the Wayland Garden Club. Sue would reside at her home in Wayland until May 2022, when she moved to Brunswick, Maine to be closer to her only son and his family.
Sue was always game for anything and had a bright smile that would light up the room. She enjoyed time with her friends and made lasting friendships throughout her life. Sue was an animal lover and a huge sports fan.
Sue was predeceased by her husband John. She is survived by her son, Bob, his wife Rachel and their sons Dylan and Ben who reside in Freeport. Her family was the light of her life and she will be dearly missed by all of them.
Visiting Hours in the Duckett - J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road SUDBURY on Saturday November 26, 2022 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 3:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
