

He leaves behind his wife, Elissa; his daughter Alexa Santoro Weingartner and son-in-law Nick Weingartner; his daughter Devon Santoro and her partner Andrew Lucas; two granddaughters Winona Weingartner and Imogene Weingartner; his sister Evalyn Couzen and her husband Stanley Couzen, his nephew Christopher Couzen and his wife Heather Couzen, and two great nieces, Sydney and Stephanie Couzen.
Alfred was the son of Alfred D. Santoro, Sr. and Clara Santoro. He was a graduate of Seton Hall Prep and Seton Hall University, and then received his Law Degree from Seton Hall Law School. Before retiring, he was a practicing attorney for 30 years who concentrated on real estate and title insurance; owning his own title insurance agency in Morris County for many years and testifying as a title insurance and real estate expert in many litigation matters. He was an active member of the American Land Title Association and the New Jersey Land Title Association, serving on various committees of both associations and as Past President of the NJLTA.
In addition to spending time with his family, his favorite pastime was classic cars and car racing. A member of the North Jersey Thunderbird Association, he enjoyed driving cars, going to car shows and watching car races, in particular Formula 1 races from all over the world.
Visitation by friends and family will be from 3p.m. to 8p.m. on Thursday, February 23 at Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59 Suffern, NY; a Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 24 at 10:00am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 47 Island Road, Mahwah, NJ 07430; and entombment following at Washington Memorial Cemetery 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ.
