Catherine Mary Lohan of Middletown, NY passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2022 at the age of 88. She was born on September 30, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY to Mary and Patrick Kenny. She married John J. Lohan on May 16, 1959 and together they began to raise a family until John’s early passing. Catherine remained in Brooklyn to raise her family and later moved to Rockland and then Orange County.
She worked and retired as a margin clerk for Merrill Lynch. Catherine was actively involved with family and friends, senior groups and knitting in retirement.
She was preceded in death by their husband John J. Lohan and loving son John. She was also predeceased by her sister Anne Wurzler and brothers Eugene and John Kenny.
She is survived by her daughter Eileen Kensek and her husband Jim, daughter Maureen Lohan-Bremer, grandchildren Megan Lohan, Brendan Lohan and Ryan Bremer and former daughter-in-law Lizette Nelson.
A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
