

Eileen K. DeMil of Haverstraw passed away on Monday March 19, 2012. Eileen was born on Mother's Day, May 8, 1938 in New York City to Mark and Ellen (McKenna) Killilea. Eileen graduated from St. Jean Baptiste High School and worked in NYC for Kodak for many years. After moving to Florida she worked for Smith-Klein and eventually returned to Rockland. She most recently worked at Citizens Bank in Haverstraw. A smart, intelligent, hard working woman, who was always very proud of her Irish heritage. For 15 years she was an active parishioner of St. Boniface Church. Survived by her aunts Sheila Balwin of Chicago and Maggie Boylan of County Monaghan, Ireland. She is also survived by her many cousins including Ann McGuire and Peggy Flannery who were like sisters to her. To all her younger cousins she was more like an Aunt than a cousin- someone they loved and admired. She had many good friends, including Vincent and Brenda Nespoli. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. In addition she leaves behind her beautiful black cat "Bear", a cherished companion for over 10 years.
