Gloria Louise DePew

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Gloria "Glory" DePew of Cobleskill, NY. Gloria was predeceased by her loving parents Rev. Otto and Rose Mann of Mahwah, NJ as well as her beloved husband Donald "Spider" DePew and other family members. She is survived by her loving children; Yvonne, Michelle, Tammy and Donald "Lil Spider" and their spouses; Bonnie John and Donnie. Her Grandchildren; Tiffany, Theresa, Donald Percy, Deena, Meghan, Shane, Amber and Anthony Wayne. Her Great Grandchildren; Bryce, Carter, Eliyana, Noah, Natalie, Karsyn, Elliott and Kori Rae. She's also survived by her brothers Barry and Brian and sisters Stella, Francine and Linda and her many nieces and nephews. Gloria was one of the original members of the Ramapough Mountain Indians of Mahwah, NJ and she was the Director of the Title IV Indian Education Dept in the Mahwah school district. Many of the children were taught their history and enjoyed the many trips they took together. Gloria loved to travel and went on many trips with family and friends. She's been all over the country and abroad by land and sea. She enjoyed life, her religion, family and she'll be extremely missed by all of her family as she is now on her final journey.

A prayer service for Gloria will be held Friday, May 2, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, New York 10901. Following the prayer service will be an interment to follow at Airmont Coptic Orthodox Cemetery, Airmont Road, Airmont, NY 10901.
