Harold Eric Classon

Harold Eric Classon of Airmont, NY died March 18, 2015 at age 92. Born November 20, 1922 in Flushing, NY to Eric and Britta (Swenning) Classon. Harold was the Vice President of CBS Sports in NYC. He was married to his beloved May Classon. Survived by his loving daughters Janet Lynch (husband Randy), Susan Brinn (husband Jeffrey), Nancy Layne (husband John) and Cathy Quaranti (husband Philip), cherished grandchildren Jennifer (husband Angelo), Tara (husband Scott), Gregory (wife Sarah), Russell (wife Nikki), D.J. (wife Kim), Allison (husband Steven), Jeffrey, Eric and Abby and cherished great-grandchildren Maddie, Jack, Cole, Brooklyn, Connor, Casey and Ben. Harold was an adoring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was a very special man who touched many lives and will be greatly missed.Visitation Monday, March 23, 2015 from 10 to 1pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59 in Suffern. Funeral Service Monday 1pm at the Funeral Home followed by an Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
