Jeanne Charadin

in a village of Torbeck on January 10, 1947. Melienne graduated from Ecole Normale Rurale and received her degree in education. She taught students from 1st grade through 6th grade.

She was married to Jean Robert Charadin on August 22, 1972 and is survived by him.

She enjoyed teaching for six years and then immigrated to New York. For a short time, she worked in food processing for various airlines and then worked for the New York State Office of People with Developmental Disabilities as a therapy aide for nearly 30 years.

Melienne was a member of New Life Assembly of God and served in various roles that include Women’s Ministry President, Vice President of the Women’s Ministry and choir member. She had a passion for serving others and was committed to the Lord.

She is also survived by her only daughter, Ruth and her son-in-law Watson; her beloved grandchildren Jesiah, Ava, Alexa, Amaya, and Alaina. Melienne was the youngest of 10 children and is survived by her sisters, Nelcia Vilfranche (Mme Vital), Medela Mathieu (Mme Jonas), and brother Jean Fleurismond (Menel). She is also survived by many loved ones including her nieces and nephews.
