

Jeannine was born on September 11, 1939, in Baradères, a town in the southwestern region of Haiti, to the late Acela Desir and Antelhomme Termil. She was raised in Miragoâne and later moved to Port-au-Prince, where she began her adult life and deepened her lifelong commitment to family and faith.
In April 1986, Jeannine immigrated to Spring Valley, New York, where she became an active and cherished member of Saint-Joseph Catholic Church. She served faithfully in the Charismatic Group and dedicated herself to missionary work, offering spiritual guidance and compassion to those in need. Her life was a testament to love, prayer, and service to others.
Jeannine is survived by her beloved children: Ronald Thermil, Emmanuel Archer, Irvel Oscar Archer, and Sandra Archer; and their spouses: Takisha Thermil, Claudia Archer, Manouska Archer, Lara Ortiz Archer, and Reginald Simon. She leaves behind a legacy in her grandchildren: Ronald Thermil Jr., Ryan Thermil, Josiah Thermil, Leah Thermil, Dominik Archer, Ashton Oscar Archer, Kristinah Jane Archer, Jonathan Archer Celestin, Kyrah Jayne Simon, Reginald Archer Simon, and Noah Archer Simon. Her memory will also live on through her great-grandchildren: Amari Archer, Rian Thermil, and Amina Thermil.
Jeannine’s life was a beacon of strength, humility, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
