

A Vietnam Veteran, Jeff proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. After coming home from the service, he worked alongside his father in the family business, Roy Harvey Excavating, and also at Ken’s Tire Shack in Suffern, NY. Jeff loved being with family and friends. Many stories have been told about his days of hiking, camping, swimming, working on cars and hanging out in the garage with his buddies. Jeff’s favorite spot to be was on the front porch watching the deer and reading books about history, geography, and nature.
Jeff is survived by his beloved granddaughter Deirdre Rose Veale. His loving siblings Melanie (Wayne) Phillips, Keith Harvey (Brian Schneider) and Valerie (Joseph) Rinaldi. Nieces and Nephews Justin (Megan) Phillips, Meghan (Mark) Thornewell, Derek Phillips, and Sierra Rinaldi. Along with six grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Roy and Miriam, and his daughter Erin Harvey Veale.
Jeff’s final care has been entrusted to Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home Suffern, NY. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July, 9th at Brick Church in New Hempstead, NY at 11:00 am.
