Jessie Theresa Bazzeghin Traband

Bazzeghin Traband, Jessie Theresa of Airmont, died on May 12, 2011 at age 74. Jessie was born January 9, 1937 in Suffern, NY to Emagro and Harriette (Griffin) Bazzeghin. She held 2 Bachelor Degrees; McDaniel College (formerly Western Maryland College) - Art History and St Thomas Aquinas - Accounting. Prior to her recent retirement, she was employed as an Accountant at Coperion Corporation in Ramsey, New Jersey. Jessie was an active member of the Rockland Audubon Society and an enthusiastic participant in local African drumming circles. In addition, she enjoyed gardening, building birdhouses, reading, genealogy, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Kaufer, her son-in-law David, her cherished grandchildren Anna, Sara and Samuel, her devoted siblings Paul Bazzeghin (wife Carol), Nancy Ward (husband Drew) and Damon Bazzeghin (wife Marylyn), and an abundance of loving nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough FuneralHome 177 Route 59 in Suffern. Funeral Service Wednesday 11am at the funeral home, followed by an interment at Brick Church Cemetery in New Hempstead, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jessie's name to the Rockland Audubon Society, P.O. Box 404, New City, NY 10956.
