I was so sorry to hear about John. Years ago I worked with John at Foodtown and he was a great guy to work and hang out with ---made work fun . I moved away soon after and lost touch but wanted to send my prayers and condolences to his entire family and friends. I can see by all the messages that John touched many . Again sorry for your loss .

Even if you had never met John, it is clear from all the notes what a wonderful person he was. At work, back in Novartis Suffern days, he would always be glad to help with anything (there was usually a story and/or photos that immediately followed). What a special person (comically, we shared the surname Kelly and being Irish, - but no relation), he always made people feel comfortable, his smile! I am so sorry for the loss, my heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends.

John was a great person , coworker and friend. Very funny guy and always brought that good energy. Even when we were distanced he would always call up out of no where to check up on me and how things were going. Just a really good guy and he always talked about his daughters. When I think if you, I'll always remember the endless laughs and good times over the many years.   The everyday hijinks of high school pranks we played on each other (which I won, but the "bass stealing escapade" was epic!) to the equally epic parties at the Suffern house or the field in EV, to the constant feud of who was the better band Who vs Zep - though you ultimately relented and were forced to admit who the better drummer was!  Wish we had gotten the second half of our lives to spend remembering these times and continue the occasional prank or musical argument.  Love you dude and you are really going to be missed.

JK thanks for the last 40 plus years of amazing memories and plenty of laughs, you were framily to me.  Our families spent so much time together and I will cherish those memories for ever.   There’s a hole in my heart since your gone and  I will miss you terribly JK.  See you again someday RIP.

One of the best times at a concert was with John at LiveAid and we saw the guitar case with Page written on it an we ran to get in the front row!

I was shocked and saddened when I heard this news. Having worked with you at Ciba/Novartis we became friends, I will always cherish that. We spoke every couple of weeks I remember the last time the end of May you talking about your girls and how proud you were of them. Rest in peace my friend ❤️🙏

We shared the same deranged sense of humor.  We laughed every time we spoke or saw each other.  You were always interested in my world genuinely. I can still hear you saying "Oh! That's great!!" after I'd share some anecdote. I hope to see you someday when we are in the front row for the Rock and Roll heaven concerts.

So saddened to hear that you passed. In the 50+ years we knew each other I never met anyone who liked to laugh more than you. We'll have to do the golf trip on the other side.

We met in person only the once John...Pre concert for The Who at the Albert Hall in 2002, yet remained in contact for over 20 years. Loved to hear your stories of home and Ireland and will always remember our conversations on shared interests...the Countryside, rural life, nature especially owls and birds of prey. I think i was even close to making you a Leeds United supporter :).

Jack you were one of the good guys, I was so proud to have met you when you came to England to see that band from Shepherds Bush that we all loved. Firstly meeting on line as members of The Shout, what a fantastic place that was, then you came over here and we met up in a few places around the UK, you called most of us guys ‘Brother’ and you were like a Brother keeping in touch via this endless wire we call the internet. Sleep soundly my Brother until we meet again at the great gig in the sky, if there is a Heaven and Hell you are definitely in Heaven “On top of the sky is the place where you go when you’ve done nothing wrong”. My best wishes go out to everyone you left behind, may you RIEP. Ron

My memories of buddy started in kindergarten and grew from there. Ask me and i’ll tell you stories all day.  It was a honor to call you friend, buddy. Rest in peace JK. I will miss you everyday my friend.
