John was born on June 16, 1968, in the Bronx, NY, to Mary and Noel Kelly. He was a proud graduate of Sacred Heart School in Suffern, Don Bosco Preparatory High School, and St. Thomas Aquinas College.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Emma and Hannah, and their mother, Antoinette, of Monroe, NY. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Kelly; his sister Audrey Colbath and her husband Michael; his brother Matthew Kelly and his wife Cristen; and many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
John loved football season. A lifelong, die-hard New York Giants fan, he rarely missed a game. His passion for music was equally strong—he proudly claimed the title of #1 fan of The Who, often traveling the world just to see them live.
One of John’s greatest joys was visiting family in Ireland, where he felt deeply connected to his roots. His Irish heritage was a source of pride, and he embraced it fully.
John was known for his strong work ethic and unwavering loyalty. He loved his daughters more than anything. John was a good friend to many. His laughter, love, and unique energy will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
