Louis Gerard Pierre-Louis was born to Dieudonne Souffrant Cineus and Adolphe Pierre-Louis on February 22, 1932 in Jean-Denis, Haiti. Tcha as he was affectionately called, attended Frere Hervè, Saint-Marc and School of Mechanic.
Tcha met and married Marguerite Oceanie Dorcelus, a union that lasted 61 years. Before moving to the US from Haiti, Louis was an owner-operator of a commercial truck. He also worked as a dump truck driver for highway construction and agricultural development. Tcha immigrated to the US in August 1983 at the age of 51 where he worked in the food industry until his retirement. He had a passion for cards and dominoes, and enjoyed spending long hours playing with friends and families.
