

Nancy F. Filosa, 82, of Pearl River, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025. Born in New York City to the late Joseph and Anna (nee DePalma) Mistrulli, Nancy dedicated much of her life to her family and community.
Nancy worked for New York Telephone for 31 years and was also known for her kind and nurturing spirit. She spent many years as a babysitter and caregiver, offering her help to friends and neighbors. Her generosity and love for others touched many lives.
In her free time, Nancy enjoyed watching QVC and indulging in desserts, but above all, she cherished her family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Nancy is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Robert Filosa; children Ralph Filosa (Brooke) and Nina Gartner (Jeff); grandchildren, Anthony Grycel, Alexandra Grycel, Reese Filosa, Aubrey Gartner, and Austin Gartner; and siblings Gino Mistrulli, Mary Mistrulli, Rose Flugger, Josephine Missero, and Anthony Mistrulli. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Frankie Mistrulli, Joseph Mistrulli, Henry Mistrulli, Concetta Antich, Frances Pflugbeil, and Sally Colluzzi.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Margaret of Antioch, 115 W Central Ave, Pearl River, NY 10965 on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Ascension Cemetery.
