It is with great sadness that the family of Philomena Balducci announces her passing, on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at the age of 77 years. Philomena was born April 29, 1945, in Corato, Bari, Italy to Frank and Carmela Lotito. Philomena will be lovingly remembered by her children, Dolores and her husband Paul, Gaetano and his wife Maria, Melina and her husband Fred, Frank and his wife Gina, Joseph L. and his wife Renee. Philomena will also be fondly remembered by her eleven grandchildren, her brother Louis (Rhee) Lotito, brother in law Christopher Andersen, sister Gilda (George) Aitchison and many nephews and a niece. Philomena was predeceased by her husband Joseph Balducci and sister Mary Andersen.
Calling hours are being held Wednesday, February 15, 2023 between 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of Philomena on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Church, 129 Lafayette Avenue, Suffern, NY 10901. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Road, Airmont, NY 10952.
