McDowell, Raymond of Airmont, NY. Died February 13, 2011 at age 76. Born November 1, 1934 in the Bronx, to John and Alice (Monetta) McDowell. Raymond was a NYPD Police Officer retiring in 1974 and later worked for Durr Mechanical Construction and retired in 2000. He is survived by his beloved wife Joan (Durr), loving children Maureen McDowell, Raymond McDowell (wife Diane), Thomas McDowell and Kerry Salem (husband Khalid), cherished grandchildren Kyla, Raymond Jr., Rammy, Tammer and Moneer. Predeceased by a daughter Patricia Ann and brothers John, Joseph and James. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59 in Suffern. Funeral Mass Thursday 10am at Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, NJ followed by an interment at Ascension Cemetery in Airmont, NY.
