

Roberto Sorgo passed away peacefully on July 16th, 2021, surrounded by his loving family, after a hard fought battle with Leukemia. Roberto was born in Tuxedo, NY on April 10, 1962, to Aurelia and Giordano Sorgo. He attended Sacred Heart School in Suffern, NY and graduated from Don Bosco Prep in 1980. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from University at Albany in Biochemistry and his MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business. After college he worked as a lab Manager at NY Medical doing cancer research. He dedicated years of his life to Scientific research and advancement. For the past five years he was a Technical Sales Representative for Teledyne Isco. Roberto always had a strong work ethic and truly enjoyed his job.
In 1992, Roberto met the love of his life Dana. They were married in 1995 and together they had four children, Alessandra, Bianca, Anthony and Nicholas. Roberto once said that his “life started when he met his wife.” He was a devoted husband and doting father. He coached his daughters’ soccer teams, attended sports games, dance recitals, and school events. He loved watching soccer with his sons, long car rides, and the occasional golf game with his close friends from college. Roberto was known for his intelligence, strong work ethic, and devotion to his family. He was a man of great faith and a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Church in Suffern.
He is survived by his wife, Dana, and four children, Alessandra, Bianca, Anthony, and Nicholas; his mother-in-law, Diane, father-in-law, Frank, brother-in-law, Eric, sister-in-law, Jamie and her husband, Brendan; his brother, Teodoro; his nephew, niece, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
