Veronica "Ronnie" M. Luick

Mrs. Veronica “Ronnie” Luick, 79, passed away peacefully on May 06, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York. She was born April 15, 1943, in Pearl River, New York, to the late Dorothy and Thomas Manion. She was a graduate of Spring Valley High School.

She married George Gottlieb Luick, May 29, 1965, at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern, New York and had four children. Christine Arehart (Luick), Carol Velez (Luick), Stephen Luick and George Thomas Luick. Ronnie worked at Avon in Suffern, New York doing quality control until she retired in 2003. She is predeceased by her husband, George Gottlieb, her sister Dorothy “Aunt Dee” Manion, her sister Patricia Sweeney, her daughter Christine Arehart (Luick) and her son Stephen Luick. She is survived by her daughter (Carol Velez and her Husband Alexander Velez), her son (George Thomas Luick), two granddaughters (Ashley Quirk and her husband Jason and Calista Luick), one grandson (Dylan Luick) and one great grandson (Mason Polyak) many nieces, nephews and cousins and to many other children in Suffern, she was known as their “Grammy”.

A memorial visitation for Ronnie will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, New York 10901, followed by a prayer service at 1:30 PM.
