I was just telling a fellow church goer  how he was so funny and great  and loved his sermons ,forgot his name ,looked it up and got this .heaven is so lucky  but we will miss him so much.God bless

My uncle and I shared many of things. We  went to school together right up to high school. He went to Alfred Smith and I went to Roosevelt on Fordham Rd. We played basketball, football, stick ball other...I am so Heart Broken words I can't explain. My Uncle, my Friend Love you SIP....

I remember my Uncle coming home from the Army when they lived on Hughes Ave and him making so many tapes for me and enlightening me with so much music. Over the years I’ve collected much of that music. I called him Uncle Willie at times when I was much younger, then as I got older as with many of us called him Cowo. I left a long time ago to run away from death after my parents died so young. Ironically Cowo’s passing is co close to their Birthdays. Sleep well Uncle Willie,Uncle Cowo. 

I will never forget your presence anytime you were around. You will be missed but you will never be forgotten.

As a member of Redeeming Love Christian Center, I consider Elder Floyd (as I called him) to be a member of my family. I have known him for over 20 years and always remember his smile, positive attitude and encouraging words. He was a pillar of our community. He will be greatly missed. But the words that he shared and the encouragement that he gave will live on and continue to produce good in the world. I pray for his family's strength and peace during this time.

I remember when I was a young child growing up on Hughes Avenue, Uncle Cowo and Uncle Ricky would come home on leave from the Military.  They would bring these big jars filled to the top with coins; half dollars, quarters, dimes, and nickels.  They would empty the jars on the bed and tell us what ever you can take,  it’s yours.   We loved it.  Uncle Cowo was always in our life when we were younger.   He was always loving and good to us and for that I thank him.  As adults, I wish the relationship was the same but it wasn’t.  We grew apart and only seen him during times like this.  I am truly grateful for the time I had with him.  Love you Uncle Cowo, you are now with your Sister; my Mom, Evie and a whole bunch of other Family members who have passed on.  You will Always be in  my heart and never forgotten ❤️

To my dear uncle Cowo, it saddened me to hear that you passed away, but I know you are with our father God in heaven. That you're at peace and no longer in any pain and suffering. You will forever be in our hearts and memories. SIP uncle Cowo... love you xoxoxo

I want to express my sincere condolences and prayers with the Floyd family.  I remember Mr.Floyd as always being so nice and always had a calm presence.  He had such a peaceful and humble spirit.  He truly let God's light shine through him. 

I remember you taking me for the first time to Radio City Music Hall , seeing the Rockettes and watching The Wiz . You knew I would have love to see it . You with lord's blessing made it happened.  I will never forget and you are missed.
