William Savage

William Savage of Suffern died November 20 at the age of 83. Born April 29, 1932 in Bronx, NY to the late Archibald and Genevieve Savage. Bill had a passion for music, dancing, sports, playing cards with his friends and spending time with his family. He was a man of great faith and a gentleman to the end. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving children, Kathleen Carelli (Jim), William E. Savage (wife Amy) and Patricia Ryan (husband Thomas), devoted grandchildren Christina , Alissa (husband John), William, Joseph, Scott, Kayla, Brendan and T.J., cherished great- grandchildren, Shane, Luke and Liam, sister in-law Dora and brother in-law Bill, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he is predeceased by his beloved wife Faye M. Savage on August 10, 2013 and one sister Jean Marie Vargas. Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 Monday, November 23 at 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern, NY Tuesday, November 24 at 10 am. Entombment will follow at Ascension Cemetery in Airmont, NY.
