卢焕坤 Huankun Lu

Huankun Lu, 87, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, surrounded by her family at Houston Methodist Hospital Sugar Land.

She was born in Gaozhou City, Guangdong Province, China, on July 29, 1938, to parents Lu Yujia and Zhou Changlian. Growing up in a rural area, she had a love for farming, gardening, exercising, and dancing. In 2012, she immigrated to the United States with her family, residing in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Sugar Land, Texas. Her favorite moments were spent with her family, tending to her garden, and making new friends.

She is survived by her two sons, Qingzhong Qiu and Qinghua Qiu (Grant), one daughter, Qinglian Qiu, five grandsons: Weiyu, Crosby, Guopei, Guoqi, and Guoxuan, one granddaughter, Sophie, two brothers, Huanwu and Huanhao, daughters-in-law, a son-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, her husband, Shuji Qiu, and her brother, Huanjie Lu.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on July 9, 2025, at Settegast-Kopf at Sugar Creek, located at 15015 S.W. Freeway, Sugar Land, Texas.

她于1938年7月29日出生在中国广东省高州市，父母是卢玉佳和周昌莲。她在农村长大，热爱农业、园艺、锻炼和跳舞。2012年，她和家人移民到美国，居住在路易斯安娜州的查尔斯湖和德克萨斯州的糖城。她最喜欢的时刻是和家人一起度过，照料她的菜园，结交新朋友。

她有两个儿子，邱庆中和邱庆华（Grant），一个女儿，邱庆莲，五个孙子：邱伟宇，邱迪灵，黄国旆，黄国琦和黄国旋，一个孙女，邱迪兰，两个弟弟，卢焕武和卢焕豪，儿媳妇，一个女婿，以及许多侄女，侄子，亲戚和朋友。

她的父亲和母亲、她的丈夫邱淑基和她的弟弟卢焕杰先于她去世。

追悼会将于2025年7月9日上午10:00在位于德克萨斯州糖城西南59号高速公路15015 号的糖溪的Settegast-Kopf举行。
