Alice Cecile Curran Beaulieu, 86, of Sugar Land, Texas passed away on December 12, 2018. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 13, 1932 to James Gabriel and Alice (Mahoney) Curran. Alice was a graduate of Portsmouth High School and attained her bachelor’s degree in Romance Languages at the University of New Hampshire. There, she met the love of her life, Raymond, and they were married in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on June 4, 1955. Alice was dedicated to her family and raised four children while working as substitute teacher in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. Alice was an accomplished pianist. She enjoyed researching the family genealogy, playing bridge and bike riding. The family moved to Chesterfield, Missouri in 1977 where she was a member of the River Blenders Chorus.
Alice was preceded in death by her dear husband of 51 years, Raymond Denis Beaulieu and her two eldest children, Janet Anne Shute and Raymond Michael Beaulieu. She is survived by her two sons James (Laura) and John (Frédérique), son-in-law Richard Shute, sisters Janet McConnell and Phyllis (Tom) Bradley, grandchildren Genevieve (Adam) Beaulieu Briggs, Drew (Clara) Beaulieu, Marissa (Blaec) Tozer, Tiago and Sara Beaulieu, and great grandchildren Lazarus and Laila Breier.
Services will be held in Brookline, Massachusetts on December 18, 2018 with visitation at 9:00 a.m. at the Bell-O’Dea Funeral Home followed by internment at 11:00 a.m. at Holyhood Cemetery.
