His passions included UH sports, and he was a longtime football and basketball season ticket holder and a member of Cougar Pride. Al resided for the past seven years at Colonial Oaks at First Colony in Sugar Land. Services will be held on Monday, May 17, 2010, at 12 noon, in the Morrow Chapel of the Settegast-Kopf Co. at Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land (Williams Trace Exit). A private burial, with military honors, is planned at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX. The family would like to thank the staff at Colonial Oaks for their dedication and requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
