Arnaldo "Roy" Rojas

Arnaldo “Roy” Rojas, 81, passed away on June 1, 2026. Born on August 15, 1944, in Romblon, Philippines, Roy will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude for a life marked by steady devotion, a gentle spirit, and a kind-hearted way of caring for those around him. A resident of Sugar Land, Texas, Roy’s presence brought quiet comfort and enduring love to family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Alejandro Rojas and Felisa Rotoni; sister Nemesia Rojas; and brothers, Fortunato Rojas and Merardo Rojas. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Grace Piad Rojas; daughters, Aimee Rojas Fowler and her husband Patrick Fowler; sons, Brian Glen Rojas and his wife Siobhan Dempsey; sister, Ermelinda Rojas Castro; and grandchildren, Luke Thomas Fowler, Robyn Grace Fowler, Aoife Nora Dempsey Rojas, and Saoirse Grace Dempsey Rojas.

Roy was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, where his faith and steadfast character found a spiritual home and community. His life reflected a sincere goodness—expressed not in grand display, but in the consistent, thoughtful ways he showed up for others with patience, warmth, and care.

Visitation will be held at The Settegast-Kopf Company at Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478, on June 9, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 705 St Theresa Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77498, on June 10, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Committal Service will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079, on June 10, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
