Born April 17, 1941, Belva Kay will be remembered as a creative, loyal, beloved, inspirational, kind-hearted, and witty presence in the lives of all who knew her. She resided in Missouri City, Texas, where her warmth and spirit were felt by many. From this point forward, Kay will be lovingly remembered by the name so many held close—Kay.
Originally from Bloomington, Illinois, Kay graduated from Bloomington High School, carrying forward the roots of her hometown with pride and a steady sense of who she was. Those early years helped shape the creative and loyal person she became, and the way she showed up for others throughout her life.
Kay was deeply involved in her community of Quail Valley, where her kind-hearted nature and uplifting energy made a lasting difference. She had a way of making people feel welcome and included—an inspirational presence whose care for others was genuine, steady, and generously given.
Known for her love of the color pink, Kay brought joy and personality into everyday life. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, a reflection of her creative spirit and her ability to find beauty, humor, and meaning in the small moments. Her wit and warmth will be remembered with smiles, and her legacy will live on in the memories she helped create.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Quail Valley Golf Club, 2880 La Quinta Dr, Missouri City, TX 77459, on June 27, 2026
