Ben Herce Llacar, 81, returned to his heavenly home on March 8, 2021. Ben was born to the late Bienvenido and Matilde Llacar in Manila, Philippines. Ben studied engineering in the Philippines before moving to the United States and retired after 16 years of service with MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX.
Ben was blessed with a large and loving family. Ben is survived by his wife (Amy Llacar); his daughter (Christine Llacar) and son-in-law (Sean Sin); his granddaughter (Mykaela Llacar); brother (Henry Llacar) and sisters (Leni Miranda, Lita Plaza, Linda Llacar and Liz Purugganan); and niece and husband (Janice and Al Abadilla and children Brandon Wong, Evan Idrogo, Malia Idrogo, Jace Idrogo); nephew and wife (Paul and Ylana Llacar and children Julius, Ethan and Bobby Llacar) who were like his own kids and grandkids, and many other relatives and friends.
Ben was kind, thoughtful, and loving who enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra music and spending time with his grandkids. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones, whom will celebrate that he is at peace with his Lord and Savior.
