She was a long-time member of Sugar Land Bible Church where she previously served and retired as an administrative assistant.
She grew up in Akron, Ohio and attended Kenmore High School. Following graduation, she attended and graduated from nursing school in Akron and Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. Carol then decided to move to the Houston area to work as a nurse. There she met and married her late husband, Gus Henry, in 1968 and was married to him for over 50 years.
Carol leaves behind her sister, Linda L. Neumann (Easley, South Carolina), niece, Julie A. Dail (Easley, South Carolina), niece, Deborah L. Pyle (Spring, Texas), nephew, Samuel F. Pyle (Spring, Texas), nephew, Paul E. Pyle (Tucson, Arizona), and niece, Andrea K. Pyle (Sherman Oaks, California).
The Celebration of Life service will be from 11:00 – 12:00 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 in the chapel of The Settegast-Kopf Co @ Sugar Creek, at 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land TX. Interment will be private. Donations may be made to Sugar Land Bible Church.
