Corry passed away peacefully in his sleep after a long battle with cancer. He had a lifetime love of fitness and the gym and recently discovered that he also loved fishing with his son and grandchildren. He retired earlier this year from HEB with 15 years of service.
Corry was predeceased by his parents, Betty and Royce “Joe” Widger, and his daughter, Gina Widger. He is survived by his wife, Marcia Jean Widger, and his brother, Dion Widger, with his wife, Maira. His children, daughter April Gomez and her partner Jeffrey Hinton, his son, Lee Widger with his wife Valerie, and his son-in-law Michael Neal Stringer. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Lilliana, Kathryn, Iyari, Tyler, Sonny, Leo, Liam, and Aleah.
