

Eunice Mildred Green passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 104 years of age. She was born on November 4, 1911, in Parker County, Texas to David Sinclair Musick and Sarah Jane Curtis Musick. Eunice or Granmunny as she was fondly called by her family married Lawrence Green on January 9, 1927. They lived in several places before finally settling in Longview, Texas in 1953.
Eunice was a member of the Greggton First Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir for many years. She also taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and volunteered in the church office. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the senior group called MASH where she played fierce games of dominoes, especially 42.
After the death of her husband in 1981, Eunice became a world traveler joining her many friends on trips to the Holy Lands, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, and all across the United States. She especially enjoyed a cruise on the Princess Line. Another activity that kept her busy was volunteering for the Pine Tree Independent School District.
In 2008, Eunice moved to Sugar Land to be near family. She lived at the Atria Assisted-Living and Retirement Center where she made many new friends. One of her greatest joys was playing the piano. She spent many happy hours playing for her Atria friends.
Eunice is survived by her daughter Barbara Friedline and husband Jim of Williamson, Georgia, her daughter Ginger Bullard of Denver, Colorado, and her daughter Sandy Taylor and husband Steve of Sugar Land, Texas. She also has seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and eleven great, great grandchildren.
On September 10, 2016, a memorial service will be held at the graveside at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery in Longview, Texas. On September 12, 2016, a celebration of her life will be held at the Atria Assisted-Living and Retirement Community at 1401 Soldier's Field Drive, in Sugar Land, at 3:00p.m.
