Jeannie Lee Pettyjohn of Missouri City, TX passed away on December 19, 2021 at age 64. A memorial service is set for Saturday, January 15th at 2:00 pm at the Settegast-Kopf Company at Sugar Creek with a reception to follow.
Jeannie was born in Singapore on March 16, 1957 to Lee Kim Hu and Kow Kwee Lan.
She worked as an executive secretary in Singapore and Australia before marrying Eric R. (Rick) Pettyjohn in 1984. After moving to the United States, she worked as a secretary and, later, as an accountant. Jeannie was a graduate of the University of Houston.
Jeannie had a special passion for fitness and spent many hours in the gym. She also enjoyed traveling to unfamiliar places and trying a wide variety of foods. She was a member of the Houston Chinese Church for approximately 20 years.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years Rick Pettyjohn, son Stephen Pettyjohn, both of Missouri City, and daughter Teresa Pettyjohn of Houston. She is also survived by her sisters Linda and Cindy Lee, brother Peter Lee, brother-in-law Frankie Foo, sister-in-law Jeslin Tan, and by her four nephews and one niece, all of Singapore.
