She had an older brother, David Jr., and a younger sister, Danielle. A graduate of East Granby High School in East Granby, Connecticut, Jen went on to graduate with honors from Remington College in Houston, Texas, with honors, as a registered medical assistant. She spent a few years as a traveling nurse before settling in Houston and working at Methodist Hospital for the past 8 years.
Jen was a radiant presence in our lives - always the life of the party, a fierce protector, and a source of endless kindness and laughter. Although she did not have children of her own, her nieces and nephews were her world, and she cherished them deeply. Proudly, she was the mother of her two cats, Elsa and Anna, and enjoyed sharing pictures of them. Maintaining close contact with her family, Jen loved meeting new people, made friends easily and was very outgoing. Her entrance into a room was always noticeable due to her loud voice and constant jokes. Jen also loved going to Comicpalooza every year, where she had a blast getting photos with her favorite celebrities. Karaoke was a favorite pastime, and her confidence was unmatched. A huge sports fan, Jen shared her love of the New York Yankees with her mom and also volunteered for the Houston Astros, boasting an impressive collection of Astros bobblehead dolls. Her volunteer work extended to events like the Superbowl, NCAA Final Four Tournament, Houston Marathon, and the annual Houston Hot Chocolate Run. Jen believed in having an abundance of clothes, shoes, and purses, and enjoyed shopping with her mother.
