Jerry Watson was born on April 1, 1938 in Dallas, Texas, to Nell Newman and Dee Willis Watson. He passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016, after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Ann Moczygemba Watson, his step-grandson Bryce Prochazka currently serving in the US Navy, and his sister Peggy Duby and her husband Homer. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Michael Watson. Jerry served his country in the US Army during the post Korean War era and was recalled to serve again during the Cuban Crisis. He spent his entire career in the automotive business, retiring from Southwest Lincoln Mercury. Funeral arrangements will be conducted by Settegast-Kopf Funeral Home in Sugar Land, Texas, on Wednesday, July 13 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Houston National Cemetery.
