

She was born April 13, 1934, in Henderson, Tennessee, to Ernest and Modena Cupples Bain. Jo studied to become a surgical nurse at John Gaston Hospital. She later specialized as a circulating nurse, where she met and fell in love with her future husband, Jim F. Waldron, M.D. Jo and Jim were married for 54 years and raised four boys. She loved hunting, waterskiing, travelling, playing bridge and attending social functions. Jo was totally devoted to Jim and to raising and caring for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Jim F. Waldron; sister, Tina Howell; and sister-in-law, Oneida Larimore and her husband F.G.
Jo is survived by her sons, Michael Waldron and his wife Jocelyn, Jimmie Waldron and his wife Cindy, Steve Waldron, and Jerral Waldron and his wife Alyson; grandchildren, Shelby Waldron Hall, Lane Waldron and Audie Waldron; great-grandchildren, Jayden and Carson Hall; and nephews, Jim and Robert Brown, and Craig Howell.
A Memorial Celebration of Jo’s life will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 24, 2015, at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land (Williams Trace Exit).
A private interment for the Waldron’s will be held at a future date in Wimberley, Texas.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all of those who loved and cared for Jo in recent years, especially, Elma Alvarez, for her many years of love and care to both Jo and Jim.
