

Kathy Ann Womack (December 29, 1952 – October 20, 2021) born to her father Emery (Pat) Lee Riley and her mother Dixie Hargrove-Riley. Kathy was proceeded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 33 years Mack S. Womack and her daughter Mary Elizabeth Womack, both of Sugar Land, Texas. She is also survived by her sister Suzanne Elizabeth and her husband Jerry DaVanon of Montgomery, Texas and her sister Melinda Lee and her husband Mark Pryor of New Braunfels, Texas. She is also survived by her niece Alicia Michelle and her husband Poch Blanco of Los Angeles, California.
Kathy was born on December 29, 1952 in Beaumont, Texas and she was the middle sibling of two sisters. Kathy attended high school in Karnes City, Texas and transferred to and graduated from Dulles High School in Sugar Land, Texas in 1971. She was in the band while In high school playing the trombone.
She attended Wharton Junior College in Wharton, Texas and she worked at Westbury Christian School in Houston, Texas as a pre-k teacher. She later worked in sales at Dillard’s Department Store in Houston, Texas. Kathy married Mack Womack on April 2, 1988 in Victoria, Texas and she became a housewife after the birth of her daughter in December of 1991.
Kathy was an active member of First Colony Church of Christ and a former member of Westbury Church of Christ.

The family wishes to thank all our friends and our church family for their support and offers of assistance. We also wish to thank the nursing staff, chaplain and social worker of White Orchid Hospice for their kindness and help in Kathy’s care over the past four months.
A visitation for Kathy will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Settegast-Kopf Company @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at First Colony Church of Christ, 2140 First Colony Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479. A committal service will occur Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Killeen City Cemetery, 2408 E. Rancier Avenue, Killeen, TX 76543.
