He was married to Denise Burger-Garton for 39 years. Kyle graduated in 1973 from Westbury High School (Houston, TX). He received his B.S. (1980) and M.B.A. (2002) from the University of Houston.
Kyle had a career in piping design in the petrochemical field and worked for Fluor Daniel, Destec, Freeport LNG, and others within the industry.
He was a member of the Masonic Houston Lodge #1189, and had served as Grand Master. Kyle had a passion for the Houston Astros and all things baseball, family genealogy, traveling and classic rock.
He was preceded in death by James Curtis Garton (father), Beverly Mae Garton (mother), and Kelly James Garton (brother).
He is survived by Denise Burger-Garton (wife), Emily Beatrice Garton (daughter), and Kevin Lyle Garton (brother).
Kyle was a wonderful man, and he will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.
