

She was born in Park Falls, Wisconsin, on August 14, 1935, to Kenneth Mason and Zorka Milutinovich-Mason.
Nancy worked as an Administrative Assistant for some time, but her primary occupation was that of Homemaker. She was a member of the St. Laurence Catholic Church and an active participant of a Prayer Group led by her dear friend, Ann McIntire.
She also loved reading, listening to music, hiking, traveling, bird watching, and serving the needs of others.
Nancy is survived by her sons Michael Louis Verona (Penny), Montgomery Alan Verona (Melissa), and Matthew Thomas Verona (Lisa); her grandchildren Jeffrey Verona, Kymberly Verona, Daniel Verona, David Verona (Elizabeth), Alexina Verona, Isabella Verona, Matthew Thompson and Marisa Thompson; and her great-grandchild Shaun Verona.
Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years Wayne Michael Verona; and her stepfather and mother William J. and Zorka Eder.
A visitation for Nancy will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Settegast-Kopf Company at Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478 with a rosary to occur at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, September 1, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479. A committal service will occur Friday, September 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038.
