

Neal spent most of his career working in risk management and EMT services, dedicating his life to helping others. He volunteered countless hours with the American Red Cross, serving as the hands and feet on the ground for families who had lost their homes to fires, hurricanes, and other disasters. His extraordinary service was recognized nationally by the Red Cross and honored in Washington, D.C. Above all, Neal cherished his family and friends, especially his beloved nieces and nephews. His legacy lives on in the kindness he shared and the many people he quietly and selflessly helped.
Neal was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brothers, Greg (Sheri) Hardin of Sugar Land, TX, and Paul Hardin of Tuscaloosa, AL; and by his nieces and nephews, Brett (Angie) Hardin of Sachse, TX, Lacey (Nate) Luebke of Tomball, TX, Sean (Sidney) Hardin of Brooklyn, NY, and Shana Hardin of Houston, TX.
A memorial service for Neal will be held at Settegast-Kopf Co. Funeral Home in Sugar Land, TX, on December 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The service will be officiated by Dr. Taylor Sandlin.
