I served with Neil in Afghanistan in 2010. He was one of our Corpsmen in 2nd Plt and I have nothing but good memories of him.  He was an invaluable member of the platoon and undoubtedly saved lives.  He will be dearly missed by his Navy and Marine Corps brothers.  God bless your family, you have my sympathy through these hard times.

Neil was a great young man, and I felt a special connection to him from knowing his heart and sweet spirit in kindergarten.  I felt privileged to be able to watch him grow up . Neil for real the real deal is a best friend to me and a brother to my boyfriend Marcus. He has a beautiful BIG heart and would do anything for anyone to make them happy. We would do the same for him. We have so much to smile about whenever we think of him... And so many crazy memories from our adolescence :) We promise to keep his spirit alive forever. Our best friend has not been lost, he is just waiting for us on the otherside. We love you Neil so much. We always will and can't wait to see you again.

Dear Dan and Estella, thank you for sharing your son with us for this short time. He was a brother and an inspiration to my son David.
