SELINA RUTH GARZA, age 35, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010. She was born in Houston, TX, on April 2, 1975. Selina is survived by her parents, Esther and Moises Garza; her brother, Gabriel Garza; her maternal grandfather of 93 years, Monico Salazar; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and Toshi, her beloved pooch.
Selina graduated from Clements High School in 1994, and was a passionate supporter of The University of Texas Longhorns. She enjoyed all things musical, loved movies, storytelling, and returned love unconditionally. Though Selina was mentally challenged, she still managed to live a fulfilling life, inspiring everyone close to her. She loved worship music, was strong in her Faith, and she will live with the Lord eternally.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family, Sunday, September 19, 2010, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at the Settegast-Kopf Co. at Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land (Williams Trace Exit). Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 20, 2010, in the Morrow Chapel of the Settegast-Kopf Co. at Sugar Creek, with Pastor Mark Dean, officiating.
