WELDON MARIE TIX, age 84, born February 6, 1931, in Galveston, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2015. Weldon was married to Ernest (Corky) Tix, and together they raised three children in Galveston. Weldon was an avid cook, sewing enthusiast, needlepoint enthusiast, reader, and loved to travel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest. She is survived by her three children, Diane, Barbara, and Jeff, as well as seven grandchildren, and a growing number of great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, April 23, 2015, at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery, in Hitchcock, Texas.
