Benjamin, strong willed, but gentle hearted, enjoyed spending time with his family more than anything! He enjoyed cooking and listening to Country music. He loved playing his guitar with his son, Bryce and father-in-law. His passion, more than anything else, was attending every sports event for his kids! He made sure that everyone knew he was their #1 Fan. Benjamin was a loving husband, father, brother, and son. His baby girl will always cherish the memories of her daddy making her feel like a princess.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Amber Harget Humphery of Starks; his five sons, Bryce Austin Humphery, Carter Grant Humphery, Garrett Paul Humphery all of Starks, Dakota Blake Humphery, and Dalton Charles Humphery both of Welsh; two daughters, Madisyn Grace Humphery and Lyla Claire Humphery both of Starks; one grandson Kase Allan Humphery; one brother, Matt Defee of Sulphur; his father Charles "Buddy" Humphery and wife Bobbie of Toledo Bend; his father-in-law Fred Harget and wife Missy of Starks; and his mother-in-law Eva Guillory Rougeau and husband Randy of Moss Bluff.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Yancy Defee and his step father, James Defee.
Visitation services will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Sulphur on Thursday, September 10, 2020 beginning at 11:00am until 6:00pm and will resume on Friday at 8:00am until service time. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home in Sulphur on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 2:00pm. Interment will be held in big woods cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
