David Wayne Sirmons

David Wayne Sirmons, age 38, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Feb. 2, 2015 at 1:30 p.m.He was born in Lake Charles, La., on May 11, 1976, to Linda Beck Sirmons and Charles Wayne Sirmons. He was a graduate of Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, with a masters degree, an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed Motocross dirt bike riding, hunting and fishing, he was a very loving and giving person who always had a funny sense of humor and tried to make people laugh. He was not judgmental but yet was a good natured person and was of good character and enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.David is preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents, Alice M. Sirmons and Alvin W. Sirmons, and Nancy Smith Beck and Albert Thomas Beck.He is survived by his mother; his children, Orrin, Caleb and Sadie Sirmons; his twin brother, Terry Sirmons (and wife, Stephanie); and his sister, Leslie Sirmons-Hernandez (and husband, Sergio). Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home from 9-11 a.m. followed by funeral services in Hixson Funeral Home Chapel.
