So many things could be said here. But this post only allows so many words. “Poddy” was what I called him growing up. He was my Godfather. He loved me but picked on me like he did everyone else that posted the same. He definitely always said what was on his mind with no filter. My favorite memories are from early on, living on the same property, running around with his nieces & nephews & Don, barefoot, without a care in the world. We were taken care of, watched over, & loved. Rest In Peace, Poddy. ❤️

Donnie was such a pleasure to work with.  I guess it's been about 15 years since he started loading trailers at Grace.  He was very easy going and patient with me.  I don't know how he did it.  We will miss him.  

"That's right!"  This was one of Donnie's key phrases that we all knew & loved him by.

 I worked with Donnie for5.5 years at WR Grace, and saw him nearly everyday at one point or another.   Whether it was having to ride his ass to get in his truck so we could finish a job, or we were just chatting up in the shack killing time, you would always hear that key phrase once a day.  He was a mischievous one, a man of wisdom, tell horrible joke periodically, and would help you without hesitation.

I can tell you that news of his sudden passing rocked WR Grace, in the true sense of disbelief.  He was loved by many, and is missed daily.  Wishing for peace and comfort for his family, friends, and coworkers at this time.   

Donny was my best friend for a very long time I will miss him greatly. We worked together for years and enjoyed every minute of the time we spint together. So he will be missed a whole lot by me.

I worked around Donnie for 4 1/2 years at Grace..not a day would go by without him not coming in my c-can to talk,only times he wasn't in there is if i was working or he was or either one of us were on vacation.
         He's going to be missed by lots of people....R.I.P MY friend going to miss our conversations.

Uncle Donnie picked  on me a lot but that was just how he was.  He teased others as well but it always felt he picked on me a little more.  The most prominent memory I have was out on Roe (not sure I spelled that right) Street. Daddy and Uncle Donnie were working on a vehicle and the music was turned up. They were being goofy. I can’t remember if it was a rail or a regular car now, I’m getting to old. I can even smell the paint and primer when I think back. I loved watching them work on cars. I loved going to Uncle Donnie’s period.  He will be greatly missed -Bregette

I seen Donny about 7 weeks ago at my brother’s house. He had came by to drop off a tool he borrowed to work on Don’s trailer. He was in a hurry and tired. he said. But he managed to make a remark to me in passing. His last words to me on earth was: Gosh you are getting fat! I never seen you with weight on. I said , Donny that is not nice. He said, it is the truth, then he left. I told my husband and brother what he said and they both said that’s Donny, he says what is on his mind.
