

He was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. Donald loved animals, being a trucker, and helping anyone in need.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Trout of Sulphur; his father and step-mother, Hayes Lonzo Trout and Eunice Trout of Michigan; his son, Donald Corby Trout, II of Sulphur; his step-children, Joseph Daigle of Sulphur and Shontal Lejune and husband, Joel of Lake Charles; his sister, Patricia Miller; his half-brothers, Randall Trout and Paul Trout; his step-sister, Sheila Widmayer; his grandchildren, Trey, Kylie, and Kayden Trout; and step-grandchildren, Jace and Ollie Lejune. He is preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Hayes Trout.
A Celebration of Donald's Life will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 23, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home, led by Jody Barrilleaux, Celebrant. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday in the funeral home.
