Ernest "Ernie" Grant Gibbs, 60, passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 in his home.
Those left to cherish his memory are his companion, Donna Turner; nine siblings, Gloria Andrews, Rev. Charles Gibbs, Bryan Gibbs, Rev. Lloyd Gibbs, Linda Hooper, Debbie Morgan, Susan Stoddard, Rev. Billy Gibbs, and Darrell Gibbs; numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Pauline Gibbs; niece, Danica Gibbs; brother-in-law, Johnnie Stoddard; grandparents, Ernest and Rettie Clark and Grant and Amy Gibbs.
Memorial service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church of Sulphur, Tuesday, October 13 at 6:30pm. A gathering of family and friends will be at 6pm in the church.
