He was a native of Brooklyn, New York, was raised in Sulphur and had lived in New Jersey for over 30 years before returning to Sulphur in 2017. Eugene worked for many years as an Iron Worker. He was an avid sports card and comic book collector and loved the New Orleans Saints. He enjoyed taking care of his beloved fur baby companions, Maxie and Millie.
Survivors include his siblings, Silvio Duplechan and wife, Gina of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Glenn Duplechan and wife, Jennifer of Carlyss, and Paul Duplechan of Many; his step-daughters, Nina Cocchi and Amanda Marazzo; and step-grandchildren, Mia and Del Cocchi. He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Duplechan; and his parents, Eugene Dale Duplechan, Sr. and Elvira Casola Duplechan.
